I got into making playlists during COVID and it’s been a fun outlet. Making a playlist is a delicate art, you get to use someone else’s poetry to express how you feel. These playlists mostly are formed by Hip-Hop, Afrobeats, Amapiano, Gospel, R&B and Soul. I’ll be looking to branch out with different sounds in future playlists.
for the slow afternoons where you need to switch off for a while and just catch a never-ending soulful vibe
my quiet time playlist inspired by the words the psalmist wrote in psalm 119:147.
chilled amapiano vibes. Pretty versatile sound so you can run this one during your work sessions or to close out your day.
sometimes you need to remind people who you actually are and few do it better than Aubrey.
for my brothers when you’re tempted to drop your head and shoulders and give in. fight that feeling and remember who you are.
when it’s just you and that special someone and you don’t know what words to say let this playlist say some words on your behalf
there’s nothing like watching a sunset with some good oldies playing in the background. This one is inspired by the movie Sylvie’s Love.
this one for my 90s babies, some throwbacks that get you right in the feels. Perfect evening playlist to unwind from a long day.
